We will only use your data for the purpose for which it was originally provided and will not disclose it in any manner that is incompatible with the purpose for which it was obtained. INFORMATION/COLLECTION AND USE Under General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) there are some valid reason for collecting and processing data on our customers. The only personal information we have access to is your name and email address or in the case of ordering items which need to be sent to you, your address. CONSENT This is obtained when you agree to receive information from us, e.g. subscribing to our email newsletters. HONOURING A CONTRACT When you book a workshop with us we need to obtain information from you such as your name, email address, contact number in order to complete your order, which we store but will not pass on to any third parties. This information will only be used to contact you to confirm any bookings or to supply you with any extra information or updates regarding the workshop you have booked. When you order any item(s) which need to be sent to you, in order for us to fulfil our contractual obligation we will need to obtain information such as your address which we store but we also need to pass on to our couriers. LEGAL OGLIGATIONS In certain circumstances we may need to collect and process your information for example in the event of criminal or fraudulent activity. TIMES WHEN WE COLLECT YOUR DATA The data you supply is collected and processed at several points: When you choose to join our mailing list. When booking a workshop online, by email, by phone or in person. When ordering an item(s) for delivery When engaging with us on social media, e.g. liking a post, following or entering competitions. When attending a workshop sometimes video or stills will be taken for use on social media. When contacting us with queries or feedback by email, phone or in person TYPES OF DATA WE COLLECT For mailing list: Your email address. For booking a workshop: Your email address, Name, Address, Telephone Number. For item to be delivered: Name, address and telephone number. On Social Media: User names and demographics, in order to help us understand our audience and reach. For video or still images: Images of customers for use on social media, blog posts and the like. For queries: Name, Email Address, telephone number. HOW AND WHEN DATA IS USED We will use the data we collect to confirm customers places on our workshops, keep our customers informed of any changes or extra information relating to our workshops. To deliver any items ordered for delivery to our customers or to send any prizes won in competitions. To answer any queries from our customers. To process any refunds due to our customers. To keep in touch with our customers with our news, events or information through our newsletter. Videos or still taken during a workshop will be used to help promote future workshops through our social media channels including Youtube. However you will be able to ask not to be filmed and images of you will not be shown. RETENTION The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) does not set out a specific maximum or minimum retention period for retaining data except to specify that personal data collected and processed for any purpose shall not be kept for longer than is necessary for the purpose in which it was collected for, which we will abide by. SHARING DATA We will need to share data occasionally with third parties such as couriers and IT companies who support our website, however any third parties we supply information to are obliged to only use it for the sole purpose it was supplied for, to process it securely and to depose of it when no longer needed. There will also be links to external sites e.g. accommodation etc, we accept/take no responsibility for the content or information contained within any linked website. Payments are processed by our payment provider, PayPal it is they who keep this information so that we can receive your payment and issue any refunds which might be necessary.
