Huddersfield University. Image taken by professional commercial photographer Keith Moss. It was taken for HIQ for use in their offices in and around Halifax, Huddersfield and Wakefield. Hi Q are part of North East Tyres and Auto care, based in Middlesbrough. It was taken as part of a series of images which have been used for their client waiting areas, reception areas, conference rooms and private boxes.

Keith has clients all over the UK but predominantly works in Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester and London. He has built up an outstanding portfolio of clients over the years working with prestigious names such as The BBC, The Co-operative Group, Miss Sixty, Hilton chain of hotels, North East Tyre and Autocare and HiQ.

Huddersfield is a great Yorkshire town, well-known for the friendliness of its people, exciting festivals and impressive architecture. It’s one of the largest towns in the UK and offers all the sporting, cultural, shopping and social amenities you’d expect from a major regional centre. Plus you’ve got some of Britain’s most beautiful countryside on your doorstep.

The University campus is close to the centre of town so all the local facilities are within easy walking distance. The vibrant club scene caters for all tastes. And there’s a wave of new cafes and bars, such as the chilled-out Cafe Evolution and outlets like Zephyr, Vox, Verve and Urban Style Bar, for a continental mix of music, cocktails and foreign beers. Huddersfield also offers popular student pub-chains as well as traditional pubs and bars, and plenty of eateries, including curry houses, offering student discounts.

The town has many stunning examples of Victorian architecture, including the famous railway station in St George’s Square. In fact, it has the third highest number of listed buildings of any town or city in the UK. The most conspicuous landmark in the Huddersfield area is Victoria Tower on Castle Hill.
