I thought I would share with you my thoughts on depth of field.  Depth Of Field Depth of field refers to the range of distance that appears sharp. It varies depending on camera type, focal length of lens, aperture and focusing distance, although print size and viewing distance can also influence our perception of depth of field. Monday Monday morning up with the larks preparing for the first day of our UK Roadshow with Visualsoft. Location, the Riverside Stadium Middlesbrough. We arrived early, 10.30am, and it was a good job we did because we had to carry the whole studio up two flights of stairs which took a good 30 minutes. Tip of the Week. ISO Film speed ISO relates to the speed of a film, for example if you are using a 50 ISO Film you would need a lot of light because the speed of the film is slow. If you are using a 1600/3200 ISO film you would expect to be in a situation with low light as the film speed is fast.
