Silver Gelatin Print of Los Caracolas Restaurant in Barcelona

This is a silver gelatin print of a very busy kitchen called Los Caracolas, one of Barcelonas’ most popular restaurants.  It was taken by fine art photographer Keith Moss. On a short trip to Barcelona, Keith was dining in this restaurant and after a long chat with the owner Keith asked if he would mind if he took a few images of the chefs at work in the kitchen as it looked as if it was a hive of activity. The center section of this kitchen was like a huge range and a lot of the seafood was cooked in shallow pans directly above the open flames so cooked really quickly and tasted delicious!  The owner  was really pleased with the resulting images.  BUY this black and white silver gelatin print CLICK HERE.

The gelatin silver process is the photographic process used with black and white films and printing papers. A suspension of silver salts in gelatin is coated onto a support such as glass, flexible plastic or film, baryta paper, or resin-coated paper.
